As a tonewood, Rosewood is acclaimed for its clarity and resonance in the low- and top-end of the frequency spectrum while retaining warmth in the midrange. These sonic qualities are evident with this beautiful, Fender Custom Shop ’60 Stratocaster. Master Built by Todd Krause, the single-piece rosewood neck has a comfortable “C” profile that allows for ample movement while not feeling too thin. The Rosewood body is finished in a Natural gloss to showcase the beauty of the wood, and a white pickguard provides a sharp contrast. Another aspect of the body design is the smaller early ’60s headstock design, as opposed to the later ’69 headstock shape you usually see on Rosewood Strats. The pickups here are hand-wound to the specs of vintage 1960 types. All said, it’s simply a beautifully built guitar that captures all of the great qualities of a vintage Stratocaster with a rosewood body that is sure to turn heads.
